Resident
Zohar Efargan is a 25-year-old photographer and emerging artist from southern Israel. A former combat soldier and commander in the Paratroopers Brigade, he currently serves in reserve duty with the 55th Brigade.
Before the war, Zohar traveled extensively, documenting cultures and wildlife around the world through photography. When the war began on October 7, he returned from Nepal to serve, completing deployments across multiple fronts.
Today, his work in photography and painting is shaped by his experiences of travel, military service, and the search for perspective in times of uncertainty. He plans to continue developing his artistic practice through further study and creative exploration.
