14" x 20" on fine art paper
“YOLO” honors the artist’s younger brother, Ron, murdered at the Nova Festival. The piece is inspired by a tattoo he received shortly before his death and a sentence he said: “We live only once.”
What once felt casual became his unwritten message - to live fully and not wait.
The sun symbol and the yellow-black colors reference his tattoos and his love for Beitar Jerusalem. The Madhubani style pays tribute to the India trip he dreamed of, a journey the artist later completed alone.
Noam Yehudai is a graduate of The 8 Project’s therapeutic residency program. After experiencing profound loss, Noam struggled to return to a stable daily routine. Through the residency, she rebuilt structure, confidence, and creative momentum, using art as a tool for processing and forward movement. Today, she is back in Israel, maintaining her creative practice and continuing the growth that began during the program.
